Entertaining crowds upwards of 15,000 people, Miss Joy’s top-notch personable professionalism has been sought out by such heavy-hitters as CISCO, GSX, LinkedIn, VISA, ESPN, UFC and Autodesk, to name a few. She’s also shared the stage with John Mayer, John Legend, The Black Eyed Peas, and she was the opening DJ for Sting at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. . “All the music that I play I feel talks to each other,” says Miss Joy. “From one timeline, let’s say something like ’70s to ’80s, ’90s, to current, but doing it all tastefully so the music revolves around each other just like a full circle of people dancing and enjoying different sounds,” she says. Miss Joy works with clients to hone in on the right vibe, theme and any needed intros and outros to highlight specific portions of the event. “Teamwork is my strength,” says Miss Joy, who also works to find new and fresh remixes and interpretations on the familiar for that extra flair. “We want to go for music that is recognizable, high energy and beats that will be able to fill in a room that’s 5,000-10,000 people, but not make people that are different generations feel left out,” says Miss Joy.
